ProvidingCollaborative STEM Education
our story
Since 2016, Elequa has used a unique blend of video storytelling and hands-on collaboration to introduce students and educators to a variety of STEM concepts. Our project also offers insight into emerging technologies and civic problem-solving.
At Make Water, our mission is to empower students who want to make a difference in the world. We do this by giving them the tools, education, and confidence to tackle real-world water issues, collaboratively. Elequa uses the Make Water program as a vehicle for education, inspiration, and change.
The Make Water Program
Make Water engages students and educators of all ability levels and is easily adaptable for classrooms, home environments, and beyond. The program includes web-based instruction, video storytelling modules, and Q&A sessions. When it all comes together this allows participants to work at their own pace in any education setting. Students also learn about water issues affecting the world and are challenged to think of themselves as global citizens seeking solutions to the world’s water crisis.
We believe learning happens best when a student’s desire to participate stems from a place of curiosity and wonder. Our goal is to excite students with engaging and flexible models of STEM education and provide them with an educational opportunity that goes beyond a textbook.
